NEW - Fat & Fibre Analysers
fatextractor.jpgFibre Analyser - The new ANKOM 2000 Automated Fiber Analyser introduces automated solution control, automatic hot water rinses and simple push button operation.     This increases efficiency, reduces labor costs and standardizes analytical methods.
Results can be determined for Acid Detergent Fiber, Neutral Detergent Fiber, and Crude Fiber for all feeds and forages.  Compared to conventional methods, the ANKOM2000 provides a precise analysis of fiber content.  Technician variability is virtually eliminated as is the separate filtration step.  Consistent results are achieved time after time.

Fat Analyser - The ANKOMXT10 Extractor delivers a low cost semi-automated system for Soxhlet-type extractions. Like the higher volume ANKOMXT15 , the XT10 accelerates the process by performing the extraction under pressure at elevated temperatures.
• Official Method - AOCS Am 5-04
• Extracts up to 10 Samples at one time
• Eliminates technician variability
• Automatic solvent recovery
• Small footprint conserves valuable counter space
Use of the ANKOM Extractor couldn’t be simpler- up to 20 samples can be placed in the carousel before the required temperature is set and the extraction process begins.  The XT20 extracts, rinses, dries the sample and indicates the completion of the process.  Fats/Oils are determined gravimetrically.

NEW - Isotherm Generator
aquasorp.gifGraintec recently announced the release of an award winning product – the Aquasorp isotherm Generator.  The AquaSorp Isotherm Generator effectively controls product formulation and stability, moisture sensitivity, temperature effects and drying characteristics and provides answers in less than 24 hours as opposed to the 2-5 weeks offered by previous instruments.
“The isotherm predicts how an ingredient on a recipe will respond to moisture” says Ron Leaman of Graintec Pty Ltd.  “You can therefore tinker with a recipe and predict how water activity will change as you change the formulation.”
The technology is fast and at a cost that researchers and technologists can now afford.
