New Sorption Isotherm Generation service
We are delighted to announce that we are now offering a new service in generating Isotherms.
Do you have a R&D Department?  Are you modifying the ingredients in your product?  The Decagon Aquasorp Isotherm Generator allows the rapid and detailed creation of moisture sorption isotherms for new product development, ingredients characterization, packaging requirements, and many other moisture research concerns.   A few uses for isotherms include;
1) Monolayer moisture content determination
2) Determine critical water activity or moisture content limits for crispness, hardness, and flow properties
3) Maximize moisture contents at safe water activities through formulation adjustment
4) Adjust drying process controls to achieve a safe water activity that maximizes moisture content and avoids over drying
5) Determine shelf life and storage stability of a product.
Our instrument can produce adsorption and desorption isotherm curves in less than 24 hours with up to greater than 50 points.
