Graintec Scientific are delighted to announce that they will host Philip Burrill of the DPI to their Agquip site K28/b on Thursday August 19 at the following times 11am, 1pm and 3pm.  The sessions are essential for anyone storing grain.  You will learn how to detect and control insects – thus protecting the value of your grain.    Philip will have on display live insects including the common “Lesser Grain Borer” and the “Rice Weevil”.  Philip is an expert in consulting/addressing issues to do with insect management in grain storage.  His key areas of expertise include;

• Aeration
• Storage choices
• Treatment options for different types of grains/pulses
• Fumigation applications

The sessions are free and thus a great opportunity for you to discuss any issues you may have with grain storage.
