Water Activity Scientific Contest

Do you measure water activity?  Would you like the opportunity to submit a research paper and win prizes?

Participants will have the opportunity to showcase their new and exciting projects using water activity as a tool for product development, quality control, and food safety.
All papers must be submitted before April 30th, 2011.
The results and awards will be presented during the “Institute of Food Technologists” (IFT) Conference on June 11-13th, 2011 in New Orleans, LA, USA. Winners are not required to be present.
Fabulous cash prizes will be awarded to participants and their organisation.  So ensure your company gets involved.

Rapid Food NIR Analyser
Seeking a simple to use Food NIR Analyser ?
The Series 3000 Food Analyser offers rapid analysis for protein, fat, and moisture in meat, dairy products, baked goods, snack foods and confectionery.
With no or minimal sample preparation, the Series 3000 can analyse food samples in 30 to 60 seconds.
Simply fill the sample dish, select the product and insert the sample drawer.  Up to 30 sub scans are collected and an average for the protein, moisture and fat are displayed on the screen.
