With a biaxial translation system, the Phaeton positions the probe head quickly and precisely. Its 1.85 kW up/down gearmotor delivers outstanding penetration force, and is controlled by a variable frequency drive for fine-tuned sampling pressure and accurate trailer bottom detection.
